Today we summarised our experiences from all refugee operations in a single concept document:

CONTROLLED AND PEACEFUL BORDER CROSSING FOR REFUGEES WITH SECURITY BRACELETS 

In our experience this simple measure had a positive psychological and practical impact on the refugees and helped a lot to keep the crowd calm and peaceful.
We are currently working on implementing the system at further border checkpoints. Therefore we are in contact with UNHCR and the Slovenian organisation “Slovenska filantropija”. If you want to implement the system at a certain border checkpoint with your own team, we would love to give you as much support as possible. Please contact us via refugees@peacewatch.de
